Still Celebrating the Diamond Jubilee with Mason Cash

Two weeks ago, the UK saw lavish celebrations across the country including garden parties, street parties and barbecues, all in honour of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s sixty year reign. Our 86 year old monarch had spent the previous months touring England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales and was then watched by the nation as she participated in a number of celebrations from 2nd to 5th June, including the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant, the BBC concert at Buckingham Palace, a service of thanksgiving and a balcony appearance and fly-past.

And it seems it wasn’t only the UK that was celebrating. More than 70 countries across the globe broke out the bunting and partied in the streets, waving union jack flags and serving up their own special jubilee recipes to mark our Queen’s 60 years on the throne.

Millions of Americans got up early to watch the four day celebrations on television. With Eastern time being 5 hours ahead of UK time, it made for the perfect morning television. And our Mason Cash jubilee creamer jugs have featured in the August edition of America’s “The English Home” magazine, boosting their already vast popularity amongst our friends across the Atlantic.

The jubilee weekend may now be over, but it continues to be celebrated, at home and elsewhere. Mason Cash’s Jubilee range is still proving to be as popular as it was in the months leading up to June. The style and quality of many Mason Cash products render them timeless classics and the jubilee collection offers some commemorative pieces that will last a lifetime, and forever be a reminder of 2012 and the Diamond Jubilee. So as long as Mason Cash continue to manufacture them, we will continue to stock them!
