As with most websites, some information is routinely collected each time someone visits a page. Information is also collected when a visitor voluntarily submits a form on the site. The privacy policy for this website (below) explains how information about your visit is protected.
Visitor tracking
The visitor tracking system is AXS Visitor Tracking by the Fluid Dynamics Software Corporation. This allows the site's web server to log information provided by the visitor's browser. This information is used to create summary statistics which allows me to assess the number of visitors to each page of the website, assess what information is most and least used, and to help make the experience as interesting and useful as possible to visitors.
The information logged is as follows: the date and time of your visit, your top level domain (.com, .gov, .co.uk, etc), the address (URL) of the referring page, your service provider's IP address, and the pages accessed on this website. Nothing is (nor can be) collected that identifies a visitor in person.
No visitor tracking information is given to any third parties.
Contact page
The contact page enables you to contact me, Rebecca Kane, in person. Your enquiry, along with name and email address, is sent to me in an email message by the web server and no details not stored in a database or anywhere else other than my email inbox. Contact messages are deleted once they have been dealt with.
No information entered into the contact page is passed on to any third parties.
Online shopping
As is necessary with any online shopping, a certain amount of a customer's personal information must be disclosed to enable a transaction to take place. The online shopping system used on this website is a PayPal approved shopping cart integrated with PayPal itself.
In accordance with industry standards, no customer information submitted during the purchase of any item on this website is given to any other party nor is stored for any purpose other than the secure completion of the transaction.
