A Sprightful Spring Picnic With ‘Bea’

So, it’s April and we’ve been blessed with a few weeks of good old British sunshine now. This can mean only one thing, we must find a way to make the most of this rare, glorious weather before the rain comes back. One of our favourite ways to spend a sunny afternoon is to bundle a load of tasty treats into a bag or basket, arm your self with a snuggly blanket and head to your nearest field for a relaxing picnic.

We’re lucky enough to live in a little country village in Lancashire so we’re spoilt with beautiful picnic locations. If you are based in a more metropolitan area then why not look to your local park or even your own back garden to soak up the sunshine.

Once you have your location you need to think ‘snacks’. We are suckers for the classics, your sausage rolls, finger sandwiches and pork pies. If you fancy cooking your own goodies, which we would always recommend, then check out this recipe blog we wrote all about The Great British Picnic, view here.

Take it from us, you don’t want to be eating all of your delicious home made bakes (or store bought- we’re not judging) out of tinfoil or worse, plastic containers; no, no, no. Don’t let ugly servingware spoil your beautiful picnic experience, you’d be surprised the difference a lovely jug and a few plates can make to not only the look of your picnic but the overall feel! Our go-to picnicware this year is our beautiful ‘Bea‘ collection. The ‘Bea‘ collection features delicately embossed spring florals, a creamy off-white tone and a vintage inspired crackle glaze. It’s beautiful look makes it ideal for a relaxing picnic with friends.

The ‘Bea’ Collection features five different must-have pieces.
