No need for fancy ingredients or complicated steps, just delicious pancakes that speak for themselves.

Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
- 136g sifted all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 200ml milk
- 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter (slightly cooled)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
To prepare, mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, milk, vanilla, and melted butter. Combine the wet mixture with the dry and whisk until there are no lumps. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
Next, heat a heavy-bottomed, non-stick pan over low to medium heat and coat with oil. Drop 3-4 tablespoons of batter into the pan and cook until the surface forms bubbles and the base is golden. Flip the pancake and cook on the other side for a few minutes. Serve hot with your favourite toppings. Enjoy!
