With Valentine’s day right around the corner we thought we’d help you all out and gather up some of our all time favourite Valentine’s recipes. Nothing says ‘I love you’ like a homemade treat, and we all know that the way to that special someone’s heart is more often than not via their stomach! In no particular order..
1. The Best Valentines Mug Cake Ever
This is a great option if you’re still in the ‘dating’ phase. It won’t make you come across like you’ve put in so much effort that you totally lose your cool but just enough so that they know you do care; but just a casual amount of effort, you know?
This recipe is as moist as a regular cake and possibly even more delicious! Yep, we don’t understand either, but just take our word for it- this recipe is genius! Recipe via Caramel Pop, view here.
2. Chocolate Covered Strawberry Mini Cheesecakes
This recipe is a foodie’s dream, the three elements of this dessert are simply a match made in Cheesecake heaven. The actual ‘cheesecake’ part is so light and fluffy, all thanks to a secret ingredient. This gorgeous recipe is all thanks to Away From The Box, view it here.
3. Sweetie Pie Roses
Again, such an adorable and simple recipe but with a really breathtaking outcome! These little Sweetie Pie Roses really are the perfect addition to a romantic Valentine’s, you could even use ready-roll pastry to free up your valuable time. This recipe was created by the wonderful Martha Stewart, view here.
4. Love Letter Cookies
Love letters or cookies? Both a nice though but why should we be forced to make such a tough decision when we can simply combine the two! These little sugar cookies are such a sweet touch to give to a loved one on Valentines. They’re delicious and fun to decorate, what more could you ask for? This recipe is from Pink Pistachio, view here.
