Over the last 7 months we have done our utmost to protect the wellbeing of our team, whilst maintaining our customer expectations. With the help and constant efforts at everybody within Silver Mushroom we have managed to stay afloat during the pandemic.
Due to an increasing and unprecedented volume of orders over the last 7 months we have been forced to change the way we do things slightly, meaning a much larger troop and a much larger warehouse for our stock. Moving warehouse whilst trying to fulfil our lovely customers’ orders is never easy, please understand we are doing our best to continue ‘business as normal’. There will be slight delays on orders for a few days whilst things settle down, so please bear with us whilst we carry out the change over. We are predicting slight delays to our deliveries whilst we navigate the move, we are aiming to make this transition as smooth as possible. Why are we moving?
We want to be honest with our customers about our reasoning behind this move, it’s a large step for Silver Mushroom, and is probably the biggest change we will ever make as a company.
It’s no secret that the pace of online shopping is increasing rapidly and there seems to be no slowing it down. Whilst this is a good thing and we are extremely grateful to be in this blossoming industry, we felt our entire company begin to buckle under the weight of such pressure. Longer hours, not enough space and excited, hungry customers meant that our old operations no longer fit our current business model-. Things had to change. We aim to not only manage our customers expectations but surpass them, providing quality products, an exciting web-space, slick service and speedy delivery times. We are swapping out our economy service from 5-7 working days delivery to a 1-2 day delivery, as well as offering a Next Day service. We hope this will come as good news to our customers, and you will understand why we must make these changes.
