The Best Mojito Dispenser Cocktail Recipe

Year on year we see our trusty Kilner Drinks Dispensers fly off the shelves. They’re a summer staple for us Brits. Whether it’s a fancy cocktail, iced tea or even simple cucumber water, the dispenser is your go-to chalice for serving tasty drinks to a crowd. 

It’s always a little tricky converting your favourite cocktail recipes to a dispenser loads worth. Our dispensers come in 5 and 8 Litre sizes, now that’s a lot of cocktails. We’ve taken the trouble out of it all for you so you can simply pop these measurements into your dispenser and enjoy! If you don’t yet have a Kilner Dispenser, you can purchase one here

This mojito recipe is the perfect zesty, refreshing summer treat. We’ve given the ingredients for the 5L Dispenser and the 8L Dispenser below.

Ingredients for the 5L Dispenser Recipe

  • 18 Limes
  • 275g Granulated Sugar
  • 20 Mint Sprigs
  • Crushed Ice
  • 1.75L White Rum
  • 3L Sparkling Water

Ingredients for the 8L Dispenser Recipe

  • 25 Limes
  • 400g Granulated Sugar
  • 40 Mint Sprigs
  • Crushed Ice
  • 2.8L White Rum
  • 4.8L Sparkling Water


  1. Chop each lime into 6 pieces and pop them into your dispenser. Add the sugar and squish the lime wedges with a wooden spoon, do this until the majority of the juices have been released. 
  2. Pick the leaves off the mint and gently press them between your hands, pop them into the dispenser
  3. Pour in the White Rum and Sparkling Water. Stir the mixture together then gently add the crushed ice until the dispenser is full. 
  4. Place your glass under the tap of the dispenser, ensuring that the dispenser lid is open to allow the mixture to flow. Fill your glass with tasty home-made mojito, pop in a little more crushed ice and some lime slices & voila!
