It’s finally here our newest addition to the Silver Mushroom family! The SMEG collection. If you haven’t heard about the brand yet, then here is a little info.
Smeg is an Italian brand specialising in high quality domestic appliances for your home. Their products combine excellent technology, style and design. We love the whole collection and we believe you will love it too!
The collection ranges from kettles to blenders and comes in a range of colours to match your kitchen.
Beautifully crafted with a stainless steel body, the standard kettle has a large capacity of 1.7 litres. Features include a push-pull opening lid, 360° swivel base, and an automatic shut-off at 100°C. To keep it looking great, it has a removable and washable stainless steel lime scale filter and a concealed heating element prevents lime scale build-up. The variable temperature kettles allows you to set your desired temperature.
2.SMEG 50’s Retro Style Coffee Machines
Smeg fully automatic coffee machines are simple to operate through a user friendly full touch colour display, and co-ordinate with your other built-in appliances. Programmed to automatically switch on whenever you require, machines are equipped with market-leading 15 bar pressure.
It is practical, intuitive and features multiple options including personalisation of drinks. You can set up to 6 different user profiles each associated with a different icon, ideal for memorising each family members favourite beverage! In just a few seconds, you can select a drink personalised down to the smallest detail: the number of coffee beans to grind, the thickness of the foam, the amount of liquid and the temperature of the drink.
Enjoy a huge selection of different drinks, up to 13 in total, such as espresso, cappuccino, hot milk, white coffee, Americano at the touch of a button, perfect for entertaining. It is compatible with both coffee beans and ground coffee, to meet all tastes and requirements.
3. SMEG 50’s Retro Style Toasters
Smeg produces both two and four slice versions of its gorgeous retro toaster. They are beautifully made in deep drawn sheet steel and have extra-wide slots that are perfect for thick-cut bread and bagels. Other features include six toasting levels, four functions (defrost, reheat, cancel and a bagel setting), illuminated dials and a touch-release removable stainless steel crumb tray. The built-in cord keeps things neat and tidy while anti-slip feet ensures everything stays in place. Optional accessories include a sandwich rack and bun warmer.
The toasters are available in seven colours.
4. SMEG 50’s Retro Style Stand Mixers
The award winning Smeg stand mixer has become a style icon in its own right, beautifully crafted with a die-cast aluminium body and superb ergonomic design. The 4.8 litre capacity high polished stainless steel bowl is a perfect capacity for all uses and sits below the 800W direct drive motor with planetary action. The lever on the top allows variable speed control between 1 and 10 with the lower range perfect for kneading and the top end better for high speed whisking. In the box, there is also a recipe book and three attachments for getting started.
5. SMEG 50’s Retro Style Blenders
Smeg’s award winning blender has a die-cast aluminium body and a premium lightweight Tritan jug. The 800W motor makes light work of frozen fruit, ice and nuts, while the 1.5 litre jug has plenty of capacity for soups and smoothies. A clever 45ml measuring cup sits within the blender lid and doubles as a key to remove the blender blade for cleaning. Speed settings are between 0-4 with the top setting reaching 18000rpm. The soft start ensures speed is built gradually and preset programs to crush ice and smoothies make using this small but mighty appliance quick and easy to use.

Curved and bursting with personality, Smeg’s Citrus Juicer is a celebration of Smeg’s Italian heritage – a nation with a huge love of citrus fruits, which are grown in the south of the country thanks to the perfect climate. Declare war on peel, pith and pip with the stylish appliance which has been crafted to juice different kinds of citrus fruits with zero effort. It has been specially developed to squeeze both large and small fruit and dispense every last drop of juice directly into a glass or cup. The compact CJF01 provides you with delicious, fresh, homemade, juices every time.
7. SMEG 50’s Retro Style Hand Blenders & Accessories
Designed to be durable, functional and perfectly handy with its ergonomic and anti-slip grip, the HBF02 hand blender is an indispensable home appliance for cooking quickly and intelligently. The convenient speed control at the top of the grip makes it easy to operate, while the Turbo function makes the most of the 700 W motor. The new member of the Smeg family can also blend and chop even the toughest fruits and vegetables, always guaranteeing the best results in terms of softness and creaminess. The stainless steel arm and blades, combined with the exclusive FLOWBLEND™ system, ensure excellent cutting results and easy preparation.
