Spiced Mulled Cider
If you’re anything like me, festive winter mulled wine or cider is the absolute go-to at the Christmas markets. But it’s ever so heartbreaking handing over £8 for one little cup. With that in mind, why not learn to make it at home with the Taming Twins spiced mulled cider recipe?
Now, I’m not usually a cider drinker myself, but once you warm it up, and fill it with deciduous mulling spices, it changes the game entirely. Nothing beats a warm Christmas drink in your favourite mug, especially when you have an unlimited pot of it. Not to mention the delightful aroma that fills your house.
What You’ll Need:
> 1 litre cider
> 1 orange
> 5 star anise
> 3 cinnamon sticks
> 3 lemon and ginger tea bags
> 200ml brandy or rum (optional, but the Taming Twins recommend using Captain Morgans Spiced Rum for extra warmth and kick)

Baileys Smores Cocktail
Bailey’s is undoubtedly the quintessential Christmas night cap, so of course we love a Bailey’s Christmas cocktail, inspired by The Bar’s Baileys S’mores Tini. Perfect for any sweet tooth, this cocktail can be presented in any glass – we chose a tumbler so we could pile on the marshmallows. But, each to their own.
What You’ll Need:
> 30ml Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur
> 25ml Smirnoff Vodka
> 25ml Espresso
> Marshmallow toppings (optional)
> Crumbled graham crackers
How To:
1. Pour the Baileys, Smirnoff and espresso into a shaker with ice.
2. Shake until the outside of the shaker feels cold to the touch and ingredients are combined.
3. Strain into a glass of your choosing, over ice.
4. Top with marshmallows and graham crackers if desired.
